Launch M-Diag Lite review for sharing: How I use Launch M-Diag Lite to quick test and scan all systems for Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram truck?
Last month I came across this Launch M-Diag Lite Bluetooth OBDII Adapter for Android IOS,  one free car software, I choose Chrysler.
 
Until yesterday I tested it on a 2010 Dodge Ram pickup, it seems good so far!
Below is my operating process. Sorry for the small pictures, I don’t know why…
First, I download the Launch M-Diag Lite app from Google Play Store.
Install it on my Android phone, no problem.
Find the OBD2 port below the steering wheel, above the brake pedal.
Plug Launch M-Diag Lite in Ram OBD2 port, I can see the blue and red indicators. It connects with truck OK!
Then I set my phone Bluetooth ON. And it asks me to turn car ignition on and make sure car is stop.
It’s ready and show tip “Diagnosis is starting”.
After that I can open Chrysler software V30.90.
I click “Automatically Search”, it read out the car info.


Click “System Scan” to fully scan and check all systems status.
It starts to scan truck modules until 100% complete.


When finish, I click the PCM module and see Launch M-Diag Lite Plus Dodge Ram PCM menu:
Read& clear fault codes, read data stream, read config, actuation test and special reset, system test and OBDII test.

B: I did that several times. It’s not possible to read CS and pin from new used Ecu prc2.1. You have to have a tool like Smok or avdi. To read CS and pin. Then you can add Ecu by vvdi2.
 
A: Are you sure that once you know the PIN, MAC, CS you can adapt the PCR 2.1 with VVDI2? We’re not talking about the EDC17, MED17 or PPD 1.X, but about the PCR2.1. I taught hat PCR 2.1 can’t be adapted with VVDI2
 
B: Yes I’m 100% sure. I bought Smok license for pcr2.1 and done rest with vvdi2.

1.U need to read PIN MAC CS. From the dash.
2.If it’s ok then read by Smok PIN MAC CS. 3.Go to adapt unit module and choose Specify manually the existing PIN/CS…. and put your data.
4.After that if all ok you be able to filling up New Immobilizer data. That’s all. Even before u buy Smok u can make a try just skip point 2.
 
A: Excuse my ignorance, but what is the easyest way to read the CS from a 2009 Passat CC with EDC17 for dealer key preparation, I prefer not to open the ECU. Regards!!!

1. Q: Can I install MultiDiag Access J2534 Pass Thru truck diagnostic tool and another car dianostic tool in the same computer?
A: We suggest you not to put two auto diagnostic softwares in the same computer, because they may interrupt with each other.
2. Q: I came across this problem when installing my MultiDiag J2534 diagnostic tool. I have taken a picture of the problem. I have tried to install the software on a Windows XP, a Win 7, Win 7 starter and a WIN 7 prof PC, but the error window just came up no matter how. What could cause the problem? What should I do?
A: Please download the XP system we provided, copy the software into a CD and insert the CD to install the software according to our installation video.
3. Q: When I was intalling the J2534, I always received a error message, reading “UCE no response”. I have tried the tool on several cars, and always got the same message. What is the problem?
A: It is properly that the driver couldnot recognize the software. Please try the tool on 2000-2008 VW cars and see if the tool can work alright.
4. Q: Do I have to activate the Multi-diag J2534 software when using it to diagnose Vlovo vehicles?
